Here at Zion we take great pride in how we rear puppies.

All are born in our home. Infact they are born in the living room!
Here we can watch and be with the mother 24/7 to ensure she is happy and content and the puppies are in complete comfort and safety.
Our puppies are handled from day one.
As they begin to hear and see they are exposed to all the sounds of the home.
Enjoying all the attention from people of all ages they grow confident and secure in this environment.
As they grow older and more adventurous they begin to explore the world outside the whelping box.
At this point they are exposed to more sights and sounds of the home.
The hoover, washing machine and loud kitchen appliances prove to desensitize them so they develop into sound fearless pups.
Sound Dvds such as Fire works sounds are also used to prepare them for the outside world.
From a young age our pups are taken out in vehicles to build their confidence to travelling.
They are taken to the vets and other secure environments to expose and build confidence.
Toys are given to encourage play and interaction and visitors are invited in to handle and interact in a positive manner.
We allow our puppies to begin interacting with our other dogs, building their social skills from an early age.
Toilet training is began to encourage pups to use designated areas.
Generally speaking we do all we believe we can from the minute our puppies are born to insure they develop into social and fearless young dogs.
We believe we pass on our puppies at eight weeks of age to their new forever homes in the best possible mental state we can.
From the minute they are born we put a huge amount of effort into mental and physical growth.
